McKaylee Jade Hatch

Well, our little girl finally made her debut! McKaylee Jade Hatch was born on May 17th 2010 at 12:04 pm. She weighed 6 lbs 1 ounce and was 19 inches long. She has been such a bundle of joy and so much fun to get to know. I am excited to see her learn and grow and develop as she becomes more and more a part of our family. Every time I look at her I realize what a blessing and miracle she is. She is truly a gift from God and I feel so incredibly honored to have her join our family.

It was a long laborious process getting her here, but after about 29 hours of labor she finally came to meet her parents. I thought maybe she was saying goodbye to her great-grandma Ramsey and both her Great-Grandpa's and that's why it took so long for her to finally come :). I would want to say one last long good-bye too!

Well, here are some fun pictures of her, hopefully you don't mind looking at a million of them, because there are so many good ones, I just have to add them all!

Getting cleaned off and measured.
Happy Grandparents!
Happy Daddy.
Getting her first bath.
The day after getting home, we wore ourselves out by getting together with my awesome sister-in-law Maria and took some pictures of McKaylee. We wanted to get some fun ones of her while she was still so tiny. It was exhausting but tons of fun and I'm so glad we did it. Here are some of the fruits of our labors. Thanks again Maria for all your help!!!!!!!

Hopefully there are not too many pictures posted here, but I just couldn't pass them up. They are all so cute! Of course, how could anything not be cute with the most perfect baby ever?!?

Now McKaylee is our little glowbug as she tries to get over her jandis. Thankfully she can still cuddle with her daddy though!

  2. You poor thing! What a long labor! Uggh. At least you can say it is over!!!! I have two friends who had labors like that with their firsts and their second babies were much faster to come!! I love the picture of you holding her out with the black behind her, cradled in your hands. So cute. Congratulations! I expect to see lots more pictures of her! (Its hard not to take pictures isn't it? )

  3. I loved your thought about saying good bye to her grandparents. She probably had a whole line of spirits wishing her well.

  4. I love the hat, ducky and suitcase pictures! What a smart sister in law to stage those photos. I'm pretty sure I'm jealous a little.
